Dearest friends,
I’m still here enjoying the coast, now with my extended family here around us. I know you are feeling jealous right now—my apologies—we are indeed blessed to have this time in this beautiful place with loved ones.
I suggest to all of us…take time away, take time with loved ones. Do it as much as you can. Even if ‘away’ means a few days’ ‘stay-cation’, breaking from the hustle and bustle.
Recovery is a real thing, and a necessary thing, for our wellbeing.
I’ve in fact taken quite a break from my usual routine of training, and I was worried when I filmed the class below about how I might feel lifting again. As it turns out, I felt quite strong. Revealing the truth to me again…Rest, it is just as important as the hard work.
My parents joined us late last week, and it has been good. But it’s also been full. So I’ve combined my teaching into a class for both Experienced Movers and Beginners for today’s session. I’ve also combined my teaching into my doing, joining you for the workout in this session.
Don’t worry folks—I take my time and give different instructions for each of you, based on where you are in your progression of experience, making this a good and thoughtful workout for beginner up to advanced movers.
So let’s go, let’s move, let’s lift…it’s early days of yet another week and we are so fortunate to be present and able to move our amazing bodies!
With love,
Sarah
